Account Manager
An AOI Communications, L.P. (AOIC) Account Manager(AM) is a results- driven marketing professional responsible for cultivating relationships with key clients. AMs also work with Client Service Managers to deliver quality products to our clients within developed budgets and timelines. Key responsibilities of this important position include client development, team collaboration, sales, and strategic marketing development. An AM is driven to meet or exceed revenue objectives. AM opportunities exist for Publications and Medical Communications as well as Non-Profit Communications

Responsibilities
Client Development
  • Establish and maintain credibility with existing clients
  • Cultivate new client relationships with targeted accounts (pharmaceutical, biotech, or non-profit organizations)
  • Make new business (ie, capabilities) presentations to potential clients
  • Present medical education strategy and tactics to existing clients to continue account growth
Team Collaboration
  • Provide a leadership example within the organization
  • Work closely with project management and support teams and oversee the design and execution of medical education and non-profit activities, including timelines and budgets
  • Oversee management of project portfolios for assigned clients
  • Lead project teams for assigned clients
Sales and Strategic Marketing Development
  • Develop sales proposals for both new and existing clients
  • Create superior marketing or publication plans for clients
  • Cultivate new client relationships and present medical education tactics to clients
Qualifications
Desired Experience and Skills
  • 4+ years in medical or pharmaceutical industry
  • Proven client management success
  • 2+ years in medical education industry
  • Publication management (familiarity with ICMJE guidelines), CME/CE, webcast, and advisory board activity implementation
  • Sales and agency experience a plus
Education
BA or BS degree required
